Business in the Community 2020

A Special Day

We are proud to announce that we are the winners of The Sentinel Business Awards: Business in the Community 2020!

Since 1995 The Sentinel newspaper has been celebrating the successes of the business community here in North Staffordshire – the innovators, the wealth creators and the companies that are achieving great things.

Award Winning

We had previously been runner-up in The Sentinel’s Awards in this category and nominated twice for apprentice of the year. In 2014 we accepted the award for Training Excellence for our continued work with local apprentices.

“To be recognised for the hard work our team puts in is always heart warming. Through COVID-19 our team has been working their socks off to keep local families warm and safe; so to received this award is such a lift” said Tina Holdcroft- Director. “Last year we wanted to celebrate 30 years of business with something special and raised £30,000 for our chosen local charities”.

Tina and Stephen Holdcroft with representatives from North Staffs Mind, The Donna Louise, Realise Charity, Alice Charity and Dougie Mac.

“Our business is firmly committed to apprenticeships, work experience and supporting the community”. “We are so proud to accept this award, it really is something special”.

Also nominated for the category were The Parogon Group and Realise Charity; both also achieved amazing things for the local community:

In 2017 Parogon pledged to raise £50,000 for the Dougie Mac by the end of 2020 – and achieved that target a year ahead of schedule.

Realise Charity raised more than £2 million to support social regeneration, fund disadvantaged learners and help people overcome barriers to employment since its formation in 2009.

We are very proud to be part of the community making difference in our area #localandproud
